Lycklig mors dag!

Happy Mother's Day!
Seems very sad to not have all of my children around me for Mother's Day. This is the first year for that, but unfortunately, I know it won't be the last…  We miss you, Quincy!
Last night, we had the opportunity to watch Calvin play in the last qualifying matches for his tennis club's tournament.  He is so much fun to watch.  He played three matches and did very, very well.  Winning two and losing the other by a very narrow margin.  It has been great fun to watch how much he has improved since we moved here.
It is very funny to watch him approach his opponents, not knowing which languages they speak.  They both just kind of wait until one has to say something and then they can go from there…  Calvin fortunately had one American opponent yesterday, one bilingual and one that only spoke Swedish.  We are learning our Swedish tennis terms so it is all fine, just funny.
This morning, everyone let me sleep nice and late and then brought me a wonderful breakfast in bed, made and organized by Max!
I then had a lazy day of mostly just reading until Josh and I headed out for a long walk.  Our walk was slowed a bit today when we realized that it was our neighborhood "garage sale" day and the sidewalks were lined with the apartment dwellers' version of this past time.

We didn't finally anything that we "needed" to have and when the rain started, most of the sellers headed indoors.
We topped off our day with a very nice family dinner out in a local Italian restaurant close to our flat.
Hope all the mothers in my life had a great day today!!  Thanks for all you do!
