Language Fair!

I spent the morning at our last PTA meeting of the year, formally accepting my induction into next year's board.  I am quite excited to be involved and to play more of a role in the kids' school.
Tabitha is still sick.  I walked her to school today to attempt to take one of her final exams.  She managed the one but did not feel nearly well enough to take the second one that was scheduled so she came home.  Poor thing.  She is getting better, just not as quickly as we would like!
This afternoon was a lunch out with friends to celebrate the birthday of our "token Swede".  Sara is a fantastic friend to all of us because she is Swedish and has lived in Stockholm her whole life.  She is wonderful at helping all of us in EVERY situation and answering all of those questions that we can't figure out on our own.  She is INCREDIBLY patient!
And, then this evening, it was time for the language program at school.  Calvin was presenting for his French class while Max presented for his Swedish class.  They both did a great job and we all enjoyed hearing languages and eating foods from all over the world!

When Tabitha and I stepped outside today to walk to school, her first comment (after days of being in bed) was, "When did it get so green?"  It really has gotten green!  Our temperatures are still cool with close to freezing at night and only 50 during the day but spring is still arriving!
