A Sunny, Shopping Saturday

Not an ant in sight this morning, so I think all of my techniques worked!  Staying out of my kitchen all day yesterday was not an easy task for me, so as soon as the coast seemed to be clear, I was up to my elbows in flour, remaking my pumpkin scones.  They turned out beautifully, and were as delicious as we had hoped!
The weather was absolutely beautiful as well, so Josh and I left our jackets behind and took Coco for a nice morning walk.
We discovered that it was another neighborhood "garage sale" day with tables and household goods lining the sidewalks, so the boys ventured out to see if they could find anything "good".  They didn't, thank goodness!
After lunch, Josh, Tabitha, and I decided to go shopping.  Tabitha needed shoes for both graduation celebrations that are coming up.  Everyone in the city seemed to be shopping today but it was so beautiful that the crowds didn't seem to matter a bit!

After hitting at least ten shoe stores and trying on all shapes and styles, Tabitha finally found just what she wanted.  Josh then needed some refreshment, so we were thrilled to find a great ice cream place and an empty bench!  (Tabitha did not need to wear a sweatshirt but she doesn't seem capable of removing her Tulane apparel these days!)
When we got home, Max was making great use of our backyard with some tree climbing and some running!

Josh and I will soon head out for dinner to celebrate our anniversary, a few days early.  21 fantastic years have flown by!
