A Quiet, Cold Sunday

Not much to blog about today.  It was cold outside and even flurried some snow once in awhile so we didn't get out to do much.  We also needed to prepare for a full week of work and school.  We haven't had one of those in quite awhile.  Josh and I took a long, brisk walk and enjoyed the bouts of sunshine. The boys found a great public (we think it's public) set of basketball courts near our grocery store so they braved the cold for a long time to shoot some hoops.
Josh and I are feeling old and a bit sad as our kids are growing up so rapidly.  Quincy finishes his first year of college this week, Tabitha is almost ready to graduate from high school and flee the nest, I signed Calvin up for drivers ed this summer, and Max is now officially taller than me!  Yikes!!  How did this all come about so quickly?
I am going to include some pictures from a friend that illustrate how quickly we are approaching the "midnight sun" days of the Nordic summer.
This picture was taken at 9:55 last night.
This next picture was taken this morning at 3:30 a.m.
Our blinds are certainly no longer dark enough for us to not notice the light in the early, early morning!
And, finally, this picture was taken by another friend at my favorite spot in Stockholm but at night.  I just love it!
