All Under the Same Roof

Gosh, it feels so good to have all six of us under the same roof tonight!  I will probably sleep better than I have in months!  I was thrilled to pick up Quincy and his friend, Max from the airport this morning.  They had a problem-free trip and despite some fatigue, were very happy to be here!  We spent the day just roaming the city and old town.  We came home in the afternoon when they were just too bleary eyed to even see straight and just relaxed.  Max actually fell asleep while Quincy just got very comfortable and seemed to truly feel at home.

The boys showered and roused themselves in time to go to the Indian Embassy for a very unique evening.  Calvin's class was presenting their personal projects and having a special awards evening at the Embassy.  It was very interesting!  We all learned about the Indian Nobel laureate, Tagore.  We also all learned a Bengali song based on a poem by Tagore and then had the opportunity to eat Indian food and meet the Indian Ambassador.  Something not many college students have had the opportunity to  do!  Calvin did not win an award but it was still a great night.

And, then, after some pumpkin pie at home, Josh and I headed out for one quick drink to celebrate our actual anniversary.  21 great years and many, many more to come!
