Today, my walking group was walking for a cause. We did our usual long walk but we took the time to take this picture to support a friend of a friend who is suffering from a severe neurological injury and trying to regain his ability to walk. Hopefully our contribution from Sweden will help him in his recovery.
It was another 28 degree day with a light wind and snow flurries but for some reason, I overdressed for the part and was sweating by the time we finished walking.

We actually skipped fika today to run home and shower and change so that 15 of us could go out for lunch and celebrate a friend's birthday.
We all comment on how quickly we have become such good friends. All being of similar personalities, in similar situations, and in unfamiliar surroundings certainly makes the bonding process happen more quickly! I met a woman today who moved here this month from Hawaii! Talk about an adjustment... She certainly seems ready to take on the challenge!
