Today was a bit gloomy with a wickedly cold wind but it could not bring me down because today was my favorite day of the month! The day that my cooking club gathers and makes something new. Today, our "chef" was from Louisiana and taught us to make a wonderful chicken and sausage gumbo! The pallets of some of the European women were not used to some of these flavors, but everyone loved it!
We were also lucky enough today to have a fantastic photographer in our group and she took lots of pictures to commemorate our day.
As you can see, we do lots of talking, lots of laughing and LOTS of eating!
