We have had one social event after the other since we have been back in the US. We need to get back to Europe quickly where we eat less and walk more! We have all been having a good time though, lots of visits with friends. On Monday, my friend, Teresa, and her four girls came over for the day. Teresa and I did lots of chatting while the girls had a great time playing with Tabitha. The boys were off with various friends after saying a quick hello to the Bostwicks. I then went out with a group of my local friends Monday night so more gabbing and eating was done.
Tuesday night was New Years Eve and while Quincy and Tabitha had a big group of friends over here for a party, and Max went to a lock in at the Y and Calvin went to yet another party, Josh and I headed out to two local parties. Fantastic opportunity to catch up with friends but I neglected to take any pictures! New Years day was just plain lazy for all of us. The kids were horribly tired and slept off and on for most of the day.
After enjoying 40 degrees yesterday, this morning, we woke up to a beautifully snowy day. I was still able to get out and join a friend for a long lunch but the rest of the day has been about enjoying the snow and hunkering down in the house to warm up. Every day, the temperature in Stockholm seems to be higher than here so I guess we can look forward to warming up after we fly north again!
