Another Cricket Match

After staying up too late at a great party with friends last night, we had to get up and out of the city by train this morning for Max's next cricket match.
His team certainly seems to be figuring things out and even though they looked way outsized and outmatched by the other team, they only lost 47-38 today.  Max played the wicket keeper position again and is figuring out how to get his gloved hands on that hard, little ball!

The sun was shining today and everyone was feeling great and active because of it.  We saw lots of kids and adults performing their winter sports and we saw a beautiful sunset.

We are really figuring out how to do this outdoor winter thing.  Because we are in and out of buildings, trains, subways, buses, etc, so often during the day, we have not only learned how to dress, but we have also learned to take OFF the hat, gloves, scarves and even unzip the coats when we are inside briefly.  This way, when we go back out in the cold, we can bundle back up and not have the shock of going from too warm to cold rapidly.  Definitely makes a difference!
