All Sorts of Things to Do on a Saturday!

Yesterday was Saturday.  The weather was beautiful.  Calvin's tennis was cancelled.  We had the whole day free.  Stockholm was chock full of things to do.  Perfect!
It was Kulture day where many of the museums were free for the day.
It was the cherry blossom festival at Kungstragården.

It was a bike festival.
They had the old trolley cars running on the tram lines.  Making us think of New Orleans.

Even more hot dog vendors than usual were out and about.  Inspiring us to have an impromptu picnic on Djurgården.

It was blue skies and sunshine all along the water.

It was the perfect day to enjoy the open air markets, cafe and picnic areas of Rosendals nursery.

The perfect day to people watch on the bustling busy streets of the city.

The perfect day to sit in our backyard, enjoying the sunshine and resting after traipsing around the city for hours!
And, it was India/Sweden week all over the city with various activities to promote the Indian culture in our community.  I didn't get a picture, but Josh and I thoroughly enjoyed a dinner out at a beautiful restaurant with an Indian street food buffet.
While we were all enjoying this wonderful day, poor Tabitha was babysitting and studying all day.  She loves the babysitting but not always the studying.
Quincy, in the meantime, is spending the weekend at Creighton University so that he could attend the formal sorority dance of his girlfriend, Samantha.  They had a good time!
