We were pretty lazy for the rest of the day, just enjoying the almost 70 degree temperatures and beautiful sunshine. We spent much of the afternoon in the back yard of our building, playing frisbee, playing with Coco and reading books. We seem to be the only ones that use our backyard so it is kind of our personal space.
Max spent quite a bit of time burning little things with the sun and his magnifying glass. He was only disappointed that he couldn't actually get a little fire going.
In the late afternoon, Tabitha and I headed out to do some shopping. She needed a white sundress for Utspring which is one of the graduation celebrations that will mark the end of her Swedish high school career. We have been looking for one off and on for a couple of weeks but today, we were lucky enough to find just the right one! We also walked through the every Sunday flea market that takes place in one of the large public squares downtown. Not my cup of tea but if you are a garage sale kind of person, this place has it all!
After our shopping, we headed to the home of my friend, Monica. Tabitha will babysit Monica's two dogs for five days this week while Monica and her husband are in London. Tabitha received her instructions and keys today and is ready to go for Wednesday!
This evening, we made it official! Tabitha has decided to attend Tulane University in New Orleans in the fall! We are all very excited!
