A Very Sunny Saturday

Gosh, we are so lucky!  We live in such a beautiful place!  We got up relatively early to send Calvin off to his tennis lessons and to take Max on the train to a friend's house out in the suburbs.  Josh and I then headed back into the city to enjoy our favorite activity of wandering the city streets and soaking up the sunshine.  It was so beautiful today, 55 degrees and sunny so that we could hardly make ourselves go inside!

We enjoyed a wonderfully lazy pot of tea at an outdoor cafe,

watching a military marching band go by,

the blooming cherry blossoms in a local park,

and a little Renaissance festival in another park.

We then had to ruin it all by heading home to work on taxes, summer transportation plans, college financial aid packages, and laundry.  Yuck!  We might live in a little bit of paradise but unfortunately, we do have real lives, the logistics of living abroad sometimes get quite complicated!
