Windows Open

It was another warm day today with the temperature hovering right at 40 degrees and without wind, it again felt warm.  I had noticed yesterday that small shops had their front doors propped open to the side walks and it was quite comfortable.  We opened our windows today as our apartment is always too warm and it was very pleasant!  Love it!  Even the ice rinks are starting to melt though so I guess they will have to refreeze them artificially.
Max and Josh had a good time this morning, assembling Max's new bed that I bought at IKEA the other day.  He is now ready for guests and invited a friend over to spend the night just to use the new bed!
When my friends came over the other day, Monica gave me this set of tea bags as a hostess gift!  I will now learn the Swedish royal family as they lounge in my tea cup!

Josh brought home this picture of an amazing ice sculpture of a hedgehog made by a local man in Luleå.  This man carves something different every year for about the past 27 years.  Pretty incredible!
One funny Swedish note...  Bathtubs are not built in around here!  They sit over or close to a drain in the floor of the bathroom so the water can be let out.  They can actually be very easily moved!  Ours is made of heavy plastic and is quite light weight.  Bizarre!
Josh and I are off to dinner with friends!  The boys have plans to watch the Olympics and Tabitha is out with friends.
