Today involved another trip to the HUGE IKEA. When we moved into our apartment, the movers lost a crucial piece of Max's bunk bed, rendering it incapable of supporting two beds. We wanted that extra bed for guests so we decided to just buy an IKEA bed to fit under his other bed. I went with a group of friends and did just that. It is NOT easy to buy a bed from IKEA because just like all other purchases, you have to haul it around yourself and of course, assemble it. Luckily, here, you can have your entire group of purchases delivered the same day to your front door for about $40. We now have an unassembled extra bed in Max's room but Josh will take care of that this weekend.
After my exercise class and our IKEA run, we had Swedish lessons and then I got started on making french macarons. These are my ultimate cookie, that I love to make and to eat but I hadn't tried making them here yet. Tonight, I accomplished my task and they look and taste perfect!
Tabitha is really building a babysitting business here. She is in high demand and loves it all (especially the money!)
