We got Max off on his first solo train ride. He met two friends at our subway station and they ventured out by commuter train to the home of another friend for a sleepover birthday party! He is feeling pretty grown up and made it safely! Our baby is growing up!
A friend of mine is the wife of the #2 ambassador to South Africa. She and her husband are hosting a dinner party at their home tonight for the mayor of Cape Town. When she received the RSVP's for this dinner for 12, she found out that the +1 of one of the invited guests is the prince of Sweden! She has the prince coming over for dinner! Can you imagine? I offered to help cook and serve but apparently, the embassy will be sending their own help...
