After walking around the park across the street and then walking to the bakery to purchase the very traditional Swedish Princess cake, we headed a little ways out of town by train.
We decided to tour the residence of the Royal family. Drottningholm Palace was built in the 1600's and is one of the most well preserved palaces in Sweden. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and loved the gorgeous weather!
Of course, because we are in Stockholm, the palace is located on an island so we had great views just getting to the place!
Now, we are ready to eat some meatballs, potatoes, lingonberries and Princess cake before we finally let everyone go to bed.
