I let Tabitha skip school today so that the four of us "girls" could hang out together while the boys went to work and school. We started out our day by taking Grandma and Nichole on the free city walking tour of Stockholm. I have been wanting to do this to get a bit more knowledge of the city around me, but had never actually done it. We had a gorgeous day, a fantastic guide and lots of interesting co-tourists from all of the world. A very pleasant 2 hour tour...
We learned history, funny stories, culture and even the origin of "Stockholm Syndrome". After our tour, the four of us ate a wonderful Italian lunch in old town before exploring those winding, cobblestoned streets and many shops. We then discovered that the Mint Museum was free on Mondays so we headed inside for a tour. Very interesting!
