I am too tired and full to type much but we sure had a great day! We had three families join us for our Thanksgiving dinner tonight. It was a collaborative effort since no one has much in the way of oven space, serving pieces or dinner ware. So, we all chipped in our food, efforts, tables, chairs, and disposable dishes and put together a great, huge, traditional American thanksgiving meal! The kids all knew each other but not all of the adults did. In fact, one couple we did not know at all but Tabitha is friends with their daughter and we all ended up getting along very well. The woman of that family is actually Swedish although she is married to an American and spent more than half of her life in the US. It was still nice to have a Swede in our midst to discuss how things are different and how they are the same to what we are used to. We all ate too much, drank too much and talked too much, but it was all good!

The kids had a fantastic time with board games! Our little apartment can get pretty noisy but it was all fun and the neighbors didn't complain!
We are truly lucky to have such a big oven! Unheard of in Europe but one of the biggest draws to this apartment for me! The turkey turned out a little dry since I am still adjusting to this convection only type of cooking but it was still good.
