Wonderful City

Yesterday was just a perfectly perfect autumn day so Josh, Coco and I headed out for a long, meandering walk through our part of the city.  Max was home resting his knee.  I took my camera along and managed to capture some of my favorite sights.

Josh waited patiently while I took all of my pictures.  Coco, not always so much...

In the early evening, we headed out again to join some new friends for a couple of drinks.  Mike and Vanessa are from the UK but have lived in Australia, South Africa, Germany, and most recently, Belgium.  They moved here just a couple of weeks ago and we really had a great time getting to know them better.  At about 8, Josh and I took off to go to a jazz concert that was part of the week long, Stockholm Jazz Festival.  Unfortunately, when we arrived at the venue, it was absolutely packed so even though the music was good, we didn't stay long.  We were disappointed, but just across the street, we discovered a wonderful Lebanese restaurant where we enjoyed a fantastic meal and a very nice evening.  This city is just so great... So many things to offer at all times!

This morning was gloomy and overcast.  We did get in a 5 mile walk this morning but shortly after we arrived home, it started to rain.  So, we spent the remainder of the day, reading, napping and cooking.  Not a bad day either!
