This morning was filled with a long, high-emotion filled PTA meeting when the subject of cyber bullying came up. The parents of a recent incidence do not feel as though the matter was handled well so a big verbal altercation ensued. Sometimes language barriers and cultural differences make resolving conflicts VERY difficult. Not very fun for the PTA board... That is certainly when I am very happy that I am the PTA secretary and not the president! After those angst filled couple of hours, I was more than happy to head home and hang out with friends all afternoon. We had our first Swedish cooking club session of the new school year and had a wonderful time!

We made wild mushroom soup, grilled cheese panini, and a three berry birthday cake! It wasn't anyone's birthday here but we wanted to try the recipe and it is my dad's 75th!! So, even though dad didn't get any of the cake, we did all eat in his honor! So, Happy Birthday, Dad!
It's also Coco's 7th birthday but she didn't get any cake either...
