I then decided to meet up with my photography group instead. This morning, we Skyped in with a professional photographer in Holland for some critiques and pointers. It was fantastic! What a great way to get feedback and insights on our pictures.
A friend shared this little bit of her day with me today, as an American in Stockholm...
On the train, two guys take the seats next to me. One sounded Irish and the other sounded like a guy I know from Yugoslavia. They were talking about work and then mentioned an American guy from work who moved here when he married a Swedish woman. The conversation was like this:
First guy: "He's a really nice guy. I've noticed he talks a lot."
Second guy: "Of course he does, he's American. That's all they ever do is talk, talk, talk. They know how to talk very well, but they don't know how to listen. They have two mouths and only one ear. The world would be a better place if they would just stop talking and listen."
Tabitha was "kind" enough to send a few pictures of her tough life!
Hope she's finding time to study too!
