It is all happening! Yesterday, the movers came and packed and loaded our stuff. Josh and I then went out for a celebratory drink before each going our separate ways for one final night out with our local friends. Max had MUN day at school before turning in his locker key and lap top. He then spent the evening with his friends. We all came home late and slept in our sparsely furnished apartment with borrowed bedding.
Today, it was time to clean, pack our travel suitcases and tie up any lose ends. Max again spent the day with friends. He is really going to miss the freedom of this big, safe, easy city. I spent some time alone, just enjoying some of my favorite sights and favorite walks. I will really miss this place....
After taking Coco to the dog sitter, we left our apartment and checked into a beautiful downtown hotel where we will spend the night before leaving for Iceland in the morning!
