The Snow Keeps on Falling

I know that the midwest U.S.A is getting lots of snow too but ours just keeps plugging away.  We finally had our temperatures drop into the high 20's so our snow is finally accumulating and looking pretty again.  We now have about 6 inches on the ground and poor Coco's legs are only about 6 inches long!

It's not all pretty, as the dirty stuff lies in the street.   We don't see many plows go by but the traffic certainly never seems to slow.  Snow tires are mandatory on all cars here and an ice driving practical exam is part of every driver's license test here, so that all drivers are adequately prepared to drive in bad weather.  We live on one of the busiest streets in the city and in 18 months, I think that I have seen only one accident.

Today was full of exercise class and PTA and school meetings.  I did manage to squeeze in a lunch with my fellow PTA board members and was shocked to be served this "Diet Coke" with my soup.

I didn't even know that they made RC Cola anymore!
