School Bake Sale and Valentine's Event

One last volunteer role for me at school yesterday!  After participating in my last Friday morning walk with my walking club, it was time to help out and run the bake sale for the school's big Valentine's event.  We sold hundreds of cupcakes and cookies and enjoyed watching the kids play games and get their faces painted.  Max also volunteered to work as one of the upper school kids.  It was very fun and always fun to hear these little international kids ask questions that you would never hear from an American kid's mouth.  Like, "What is a Rice Krispy treat?"

After the event and dinner with a friend, I headed home, feeling tired.  When I realized that I had logged almost 17 miles of walking yesterday, I understood why!
