Utspring!

What a fun day we had today!  It was the first, casual, part of Tabitha's high school graduation today.  She was up early and ready to go!  Tabitha went to school to hang out with friends, decorate banners and have lunch with the teachers while the boys went to school for real.  I headed to my last indoor exercise class of the term which we celebrated with a post exercise fika.
After lunch, the senior class exited the main building of the school to the yells and cheers of their adoring parents and families!

We then all mingled on the front lawn of school for about an hour before the graduating class changed their clothes and got on a flat bed truck to cruise the city in celebration.

The whole truck experience was certainly a new one to us and while the true Swedes load their trucks with alcohol and drunk 18 year olds, our kids had water balloons and squirt guns.  But they still had a great time with loud music, dancing and lots of attention as they drove around the city for about 90 minutes.

Above are two videos so you can see a little snippet of the action.
When Tabitha finally got home and the boys were all home from school, we celebrated at home with some gifts and a Swedish graduation cake.
Tabitha then headed out for a cook out with friends while Quincy and Max took Max M out for a dinner of elk and reindeer at a local restaurant.  Max M leaves tomorrow to head back home.  We have certainly enjoyed his visit and I think that he had a very good time!
