Ready to Go

After having coffee this morning with a friend who will soon be moving to Italy, it was time for me to get ready to leave for the U.S. tomorrow.  Tabitha is on her way home from Amsterdam and she and I will fly to New Orleans in the morning.  Max and Josh will stay here in Sweden for a few more weeks before joining us in Indiana.  It's going to be a crazy summer!
I am really looking forward to two things in the U.S. (besides seeing my friends and family, of course!).  I am looking forward to my garbage disposal and a sun that sets at some point during the evening and stays set until a reasonable time in the morning!!  I took this picture from my bed at 2:30 this morning...

They did the prep work to cut a hole in the wall of our apartment.  They will hopefully get this job completed soon so that we have a balcony to enjoy!  I am not sad to miss the noise and the mess of the actual work!

Tomorrow, I will be posting from New Orleans!  We are having red beans and rice tonight to get in the mood!
