An Outing in the Archipelago

I will post two postings today to make up for my lack of one yesterday.   Make sure to read on to catch the graduation posting...
Today, was my day to just hang out with Quincy.  The boys headed to school for their day of mock MUN debates.  Both had to try to come up with solutions for human rights issues in Syria, South Korea, Afghanistan and Italy.  An interesting and informative day topped off with a trip to McDonald's for Max with his Swedish class.  He had to order his meal entirely in Swedish today and was then able to hang out with friends.  He was laughing at the choice of restaurants however, since his two closest friends in Swedish class are vegetarians due to their Muslim religion.
Tabitha spent the day with friends, having a cook out and rehashing yesterday.
After my grueling outdoor exercise class and a trip to the grocery store, Quincy and I headed down to the busy port to catch a boat for an archipelago tour.

Quincy was a bit overwhelmed with the thought that this 80 km stretch contains 30,000 islands!  The Stockholm archipelago is a huge part of Swedish culture and the largest archipelago in Sweden, some say, in the world.
We had a very nice cruise and a good time just hanging out together.

When we got home from our cruise, we discovered that Max had spent a couple of hours after school creating his own version of "Guitar Hero".  He used Legos, his laptop and the Makey Makey that he had received for Christmas.
I love this very creative use of technology!
