Great Day in NOLA

Tabitha and I spent another great day on the Tulane campus. Tabitha spent the night there last night, making new friends and participating in all sorts of activities, including a tour of Mardi Gras World with her orientation group.  Today, we both had another day of orientation.  For Tabitha, this including finalising her class schedule and getting her student ID while I had lectures in financial aid, student support services and how to set up a hurricane evacuation plan!  Interesting!

After all of our scheduled activities, we spent a little time and a lot of money in the Tulane bookstore before leaving campus to go out for dinner.  We had a fantastic meal and great conversation with an old friend of Josh's dad who has lived in New Orleans for years.  Linda is happy to be Tabitha's local contact and is ready and willing to help her navigate the city and the many things that New Orleans has to offer.  We are thrilled to have her around!
