Big Day of Fun

Yet another perfectly gorgeous summer day here in Stockholm.  80 degrees and sunshine all day.  Tabitha headed out with friends yet again, after babysitting all morning.  This time, she took Quincy with her to meet her friends, hang out and because he is getting tired of my company during the day!  We will see what he thinks when he returns.  Here is a picture of Tabitha and her friends from their fun yesterday.

Max and Calvin headed to school for a day of "cross country" activities.  They had to run a 4K but then they played basketball, soccer, frisbee golf, ultimate frisbee and beach volleyball.  They had a great time and loved the sunshine and fun.  Max also received a medal today for their last track and field day.  On that day, they had to run short distances, do long jump, high jump, ball throw and shot put.  Max got a medal today for placing 2nd overall in the 7th grade for having the 2nd highest number of points total, for all events.  Pretty cool!  I am definitely looking for a track team for him to join!

After taking care of paperwork and normal chores early this morning, I joined two friends at our favorite bridge for a nice long walk.  It was the perfect day with perfect company so we had a great time.  After walking for more than 2 hours, we had a lunch at a wonderful little botanical garden.
