The rest of the day consisted of a couple of planning meetings at school and some running of errands. Lots of walking around the city. The ice is gradually clearing off of most of the streets and sidewalks but what is there is still treacherous. I bought my first pair of shoe spikes for my walking club tomorrow. They are sold in every store around and really standard equipment for Swedes. I never needed them last year as we got so little snow but I think this year is going to be different...
Here are a few of the sights around town today...
City dog walkers are everywhere and I just love the sight! Both the dogs and the people always seem to be happy!
And, the king's horses. They go out for a daily ride, every day and we often see them at different spots around the city.
And, finally, I just wanted to share this article. It gives a great little snapshot of a Swedish personality.
