A Steady Snow

We woke up to a nice steady snow fall today.  The temperatures are still hovering right around the freezing point so it was a wet snow with big, fat flakes.  Beautiful!  It snowed for most of the day, causing sloppy streets but beautiful views.

I enjoyed my walk to a friend's house for our monthly book club discussion.  After a lively discussion, I headed home to take Coco out in the snow to play.  She always looks so white until you get her next to some clean, white snow!

It was then time to head out again for lunch to celebrate the birthday of another friend.  I had to laugh at the recent local newspaper article where Stockholm stated that it will now plow the sidewalks and bike lanes first, before the roads, as is dictated by their gender equality stance.  What?!  I couldn't figure that one out until I read on that there are more women than men in Stockholm and that women are more likely to walk or ride bikes then men.  So, the men in their cars will have to wait just a little bit longer for their way to be clear...

And, a rare appearance by Quincy from his weekend in Kansas City.
