Sunshine!

Today was wonderful!  After having only 5 hours of sunlight during the whole month of November and having only 6 hours of daylight, period, at this time of the year, we were all absolutely thrilled to have sunshine today from sunrise at 8:30 to sunset at 2:50 today!  It was wonderfully refreshing and invigorating!  I think that ever person in Stockholm was outside today.  It also helped that the temperature was almost 40 degrees.

We used to laugh at the way the Swedes will stop whatever they are doing, stand completely still and turn their faces up into the sun for minutes at a time, the minute that the sun comes out.  Well, I am no longer laughing... I am joining them...
