Another Full Stomach

Whew!  Tis the season of eating too much!  This morning was the day for my walking club, however, our leader, Meg, gathered us all on the bridge as usual but then invited us to walk to her house (only a couple of kilometers away) for a Christmas fika instead of our usual long walk!  We all jumped on the idea and spent a wonderful morning, just talking and eating before we all go our separate ways for the Holidays.

When we left at lunch time, the sun had come out to give us a gorgeous, almost spring-like day!

A small group of us then walked to the home of another friend who had invited us over for lunch as a thank you for helping her to settle in when she arrive in Stockholm in the fall.

We had a wonderful lunch of spring rolls and Vietnamese soup with a lot more laughing and talking before finally going home to our families!

Max also had a great last day of school before the Christmas break.  His whole class went to an entertainment center where they ate lunch, played miniature golf and played arcade games before coming home on the train!

We are now getting ourselves packed and ready to head home for the Holidays!
