After taking Kerry and Courtney to the train station early yesterday morning for their long trip back to the US, I headed out with my Friday morning walking group. We had another beautiful walk around Djurgården followed by a delicious fika. It was then time to walk home and check on the status of our new terrace. I was thrilled to discover that it was complete!! They may have taken almost a year to get the project started but once they started, they completed it in record time! Today, we headed out to IKEA to get a small table and chairs for the terrace. IKEA is always an adventure but especially on a Saturday, early afternoon. Max had never been to IKEA before and after today's trip, told me that he is in no hurry to go back!
I mapped our walking within the store, only to discover that we walked almost 2 full miles! That was only within the store and with a very short list of items to buy! Two subways and a bus took us back home. Good thing that we had Max along to help with the carrying.
It was all worth it, however...
We all LOVE our new outdoor access! Especially Coco!
