København

Being just 35 minutes by train to Copenhagen, we had to take the opportunity to head over to Denmark for the day.  We had been there before but since it was already more than 5 years ago, we realised that Max hardly remembered it at all.  We were lucky to have a warm and sunny day although it was very windy.  We crossed the 12 km long Øresund Bridge which was completed in 1999 to connect Copenhagen and Malmö.  A very impressive bit of engineering!
We spent a fantastic day in Copenhagen!  Just wandering this lively, beautiful city and strolling along many of it's waterways.

We loved climbing up and up and up the spiralling ramp to the top of the round tower, jumping on the street trampolines, seeing the little Mermaid again, drinking coffee along Nyhaven, and enjoying a hotdog in the sunshine along the coast.  A perfect day!
