After a lazy morning and lunch at my favorite soup spot, Josh and I took Coco out for a leisurely walk while Max finished his reading for school. It started to sprinkle while we were out so we debated about whether to just keep walking or to head home. Not relishing a wet, dirty dog, we decided to come home. Thank goodness that we did, because soon after we got home, the rain started in earnest! I have never seen a thunderstorm in Sweden before, but we had one and are continuing to have one! Thunder, lightning, pouring rain, and even some hail!
Hard to capture it with my camera, but I tried. I made some scones to keep us entertained for our afternoon indoors.
Poor Max, the rain let up just long enough for his track coach to decide to have practice anyway. So, Max and Josh headed out to the track. Since that time, the rain picked back up and the temperatures dropped. They are running anyway. Poor kid is certainly going to be cold and wet when he gets home!
I'll put some soup on!
