Tabitha is 18!

Impossible to believe but our baby girl is now an adult!  Tabitha turned 18 yesterday and will leave on Sunday to start her college career in New Orleans!  Wow!  She is so mature and so sweet and so smart, we know that she can and will accomplish anything that she wants!  What a great feeling!
A family dinner at the Cheesecake Factory was a great way to celebrate last night!
In Batesville, we continue to be busy visiting with friends, doing summertime lazy activities, working in our yard and packing up Tabitha's stuff as she prepares to move.

Quincy is working.  Calvin is really enjoying his new school (despite the fact that his roomate decided that boarding school was too overwhelming and went home the day before classes began!).  Max is a little bored now that his local friends have gone back to school but he has kept himself entertained by taking over Calvin's old bedroom and turning it into a media room for movie viewing.  Some evening  family movies have resulted.  Josh is also busy working.  Josh and I attended a wonderful, big dinner party with some very good friends on Saturday.  We had a fantastic time catching up with friends and eating some Italian cuisine.  The setting was in the really rural part of rural Indiana and even made me appreciate the beauty around here.  Unfortunately, I didn't have a good camera with me so you can only get a slight idea of the beautiful evening.

And, on Friday, we had the opportunity to spend the day with my brother and parents in a state park.  Very nice way to just spend time together.
There is a small group of my local friends that have also lived ex-pat lives.  Yesterday, we got together for coffee to help another mentally prepare to move to Germany next month.  It was so fun to share ideas and memories.
Max and I are now starting our own packing to fly back to Stockholm on Friday!  He starts school on Monday morning so we have to be ready to go!
