Getting Busy

Max and I started to really get into the swing of things today as he went to his first full day of school and started signing up for activities like MUN, cricket, basketball, etc.  I also attended our first PTA Meet and Greet where we welcome the new families and start organizing our clubs.  I just have to figure out how to fit in everything that I want to do this year!  Max is most excited about his 8th grade class trip that he will go on already next week.  He will leave on Tuesday and come back on Friday after they visit Smögen.  They will do all sorts of class activities like going out on a fishing boat, hiking, cold water swimming, and visiting a stone carving village from the Bronze Age.  He missed his class trip last year because we moved here too late but he is thrilled to go this year after listening to the kids tell stories about their trip all through the school year last year.  Not quite sure what I will do while he is gone for four days...
Tabitha is settling in very well and barely gave Josh a backward glance after he helped to move her into her dorm.  She quickly met her next door neighbor and her "big sister" (a sophomore that is assigned as her contact person). She then ran off to a full week of activities.  She is apparently loving it from the few texts that we have received!
Max is still a little bored in the apartment with just me while Josh is at work but he is trying to teach Coco to play Xbox with him and he is always entertains us with his stop motion videos (just hit the arrow on the second picture down and watch Max's video from today)...

I had a great opportunity to catch up with friends today and to meet lots of new people.  So fun!
