Back on the Court

Today was a big day for the Shenks although not necessarily for those of us here.  While Max and I were hanging out at the back to school picnic, Quincy was loading up the car and heading back to St. Louis.  He will move into his dorm this afternoon and his sophomore year will begin on Monday!  Hard to believe that he is already so experienced!
Josh got up early this morning and drove up to Muncie so that he could watch Calvin's first tennis match for his new school.  Calvin easily won his doubles match but then lost his singles match in a 7-10 tiebreaker.  He played hard though!  Grandma also came to watch!  Josh now gets to take Calvin out to eat and hang out with him a bit for the first time since we moved him into his dorm.

Tabitha is happy as can be!  Says that her new roomate is "fun" and that they are busy with scheduled freshman activities all weekend.  She bought her books and will be ready for classes to begin on Monday!

Max and I stayed at the school picnic and until it started to rain and then spent the rest of the day hanging out at home.  A rainy, windy day with the temperature not quite reaching 60 degrees is not all that fun...
