Happy Thanksgiving!

Hopefully everyone had as nice of a Thanksgiving as we did!  The kids were all home and we were all gathered together for four solid days.  Loved it!  After the usual work and school at the beginning of the week, we loaded up the car on Thursday morning and headed to Ft Wayne.  We had a wonderful meal and day with Josh's family.  The kids love to play with their little cousins and we love to visit with everyone.

The weather was so nice and warm that we could even be outside a bit.  After Jeremy and his family left, we headed over to the zoo to see the Christmas lights.  Since this was the location of my first date with Josh, we bored the kids silly with our reminiscing.

On Friday morning, I enjoyed a long breakfast with an old high school friend, while Josh and his mom accepted an offer on her house.  She will soon be moving into her new condo!  We then took off after lunch to join my family on the shore of Lake Erie for our weekend at Maumee Bay State Park.  Even though the weekend was a bit cool and rainy, we all had a wonderful time with eating, card playing, eating, drinking, walking, talking, and just plain hanging out...

We all had to head our separate ways on Sunday afternoon but we will be together again soon for Christmas.

We when got home, I immediately got everyone working to put up some of our Christmas decorations.  A new house means some new decorations but lots of figuring out and finding the boxes.
