Unseasonably Warm

We had an absolutely wonderful weather week! It was almost 80 in the afternoon most of the week and we could hardly bring ourselves to get any work done because we just wanted to be outside.  Lovely for November!  A good friend of mine from Batesville came up for a visit on Monday evening and stayed until lunch on Tuesday.  Tina and I had a great time catching up and I was able to show her some of our local sights before she took off.  Josh and the kids and I also did some wandering around at our local favorites throughout the week, just enjoying the weather.  I also headed into Cleveland, into the hipster area of Tremont with a friend on Thursday.  We had a great time lunching and shopping.  We even saw a couple taking their pig on a walk on a leash!  So sorry that I didn't have my camera handy.

Max's cross country team ran in the State meet on Saturday and placed 3rd overall!  Fantastic!  He got to participate in some of the pep activities prior to the big meet and enjoyed being a part of things.    On Wednesday, they finally poured the concrete for our portion of the street!  It is still impossible for us (or anyone) to drive on it but at least progress is being made!
On Friday, I had some painters come to the house and paint our two story entry way.  We all love the new color and love that we didn't try to paint it ourselves!

We just got back from spending the weekend at Josh's mom's house.  We went to look at some new condos for her to live in and found a great one!  We will see how the bidding and purchasing and moving process goes.  Keep your fingers crossed!  We were thrilled to also be able to see Calvin this weekend.  He came up to Grandma's house for the day on Saturday and the kids had a great time just being together.

We also got to enjoy brunch with my parents so it was a good family weekend!  The weather has gotten much colder but it is still beautiful!
Coco is such a great traveler!  She doesn't mind the long car rides at all anymore!
