Max had a great time in Washington, D.C. with his 8th grade class. Because we had already had a long family trip to DC a couple of years ago, he didn't see anything new but did see it from a different perspective and enjoyed getting to know some classmates a bit better. He came home on Wednesday night and is now, really and truly finished with school for the summer!
While Quincy was in Batesville visiting some friends, Calvin and I enjoyed hanging out together. We bought him a bike to replace the one that was stolen in Stockholm and enjoyed a long, uphill ride through a local park. After enjoying some ice cream and then coming home, Calvin was playing with the dog and running around the house when he collided with a heavy piece of furniture and broke his little toe! That put a stop to shoe wearing and active activities for at least a short while... Bummer!
Tabitha continues to love her time in Italy! It has been getting quite hot there so taking her little charges to the country club pool has been a favorite past time.
Tonight, she is excited to go with the family to see the dad play on his Italian professional basketball team!
Josh and I will take Calvin to St Louis tomorrow for his 3 week engineering camp. Should be fun and very informative for him!
Max will stay home with Quincy while we go to St Louis as he will attend his first bar mitzvah tomorrow as the guest of a neighbor! Should be interesting for him!
