Max is Back

Josh and I enjoyed a very quiet week at home last week without any of the kids around.  While Josh was at work, I puttered around the house and did my clubs, hiking and activities with my friends.  In the evenings, we ate big, healthy meals for two, took walks and even went out for two date nights!  Crazy!  As nice as that was, we did miss the kids and are happy to have at least one home with us again!

Our favorite place to " go out" around here is just two miles away in the little village of Chagrin Falls.  Such a beautiful little town full of shops and restaurants.  We even saw Geraldo Rivera there on Friday night.  Just sitting on a bench and chatting with people as they walked by.
Quincy is thoroughly enjoying his camp counsellor position and is thrilled to have the campers arrive today for their 8 week session!  He even has one camper that is from Stockholm!  What a coincidence that is!

Max's team won the whole tournament at his basketball camp this week.  He worked hard and played hard and truly loved it!   He was the freshman among many other older high school students but he was not intimidated and felt like he played well.
Calvin continues to really, really enjoy his engineering camp.  He is now in his final week but has had many opportunities to do all sorts of things. He has gotten to learn about all of the different types of engineering.  We are very interested to hear what he found to be the most interesting!  He certainly loves Wash U's campus and had an admissions interview there this morning!
When we went to pick up Max from Josh's mom's house yesterday, we also had the opportunity to visit my parents for a bit.  It was certainly nice to be with the two best dads on the planet for Father's day!
