Max and I did have some time to do a little exploring around Cleveland though and Max found that he loves the westside market as much as I do!
I was also lucky enough to join another cooking club and got to enjoy a wonderful lunch poolside at someone's beautiful home!
A friend from Batesville came through Cleveland on Thursday evening during her 1700 mile bike ride to Nova Scotia! It was great to catch up with Virge and hear all about her adventure!
Unfortunately, the same night, we had a squirrel fall into our fireplace so Max and I had some excitement around the house until Animal Control was able to get rid of it!
Calvin finished up his camp at Wash U on Friday and flew home. He had a great 3 weeks and really felt like it was a valuable experience!
I never get to see any pictures of Quincy but supposedly he is working very hard but absolutely loving his time as a camp counselor. He is perpetually sore as he spends most of every day rowing a canoe or a kayak but he loves the kids and loves the other counselors.
Tabitha is finishing up her time in Italy before she heads out with her "family" to Stockholm for the next couple of weeks. She is really excited to spend time in her favorite city!
I left early Saturday morning to drive (through the pouring rain) to Columbus for a physical therapy course. I was thrilled to unexpectedly see that my cousin had chosen the same course to attend. Sheila and I spent the weekend, catching up on each other's lives and families and learning all about neuromuscular release techniques!
On Saturday night, I also got to spend a very fun night with a good friend from Stockholm. Rosalind now lives with her family in Columbus as her husband is the head coach for the Columbus Crew. After a great dinner with just Rosalind with lots of chatting and catching up, we spent the rest of the evening with the other coaches' wives and children, watching the Crew's away game on television. Very fun!
Calvin started his summer job yesterday. He is teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding at our two local community pools. He is enjoying it so far but mostly because he loves to make money!
