Castles!

The school year is winding down and Max is counting the days!  Only 6 more school days and then a 3 day class trip to Washington D.C.  He is definitely ready for summer!  Especially with Quincy at home, Max would love to just hang out with his brother all day long!
With the end of the school year activities, Max's school had a "end of the spring season" awards banquet.  They gave out 1 prize for the student athlete of the week for each of the six weeks of the spring season.  This encompassed all of the spring sports.  So, out of more than 300 athletes, Max was thrilled to come home with one of the student athlete prizes!
And, I love that it is a t-shirt, rather than a ribbon or trophy to try to find something to do with!
We are very proud of his track season!
Calvin is finishing up his school year as we speak and we will pack up his dorm room and bring him home on Saturday!
Tabitha appears to be doing great in Italy!  She loves the family that she is working for and is eagerly participating in all parts of their routines!  She texted me for a pancake recipe today as she plans to make American pancakes for the little girls for breakfast in the morning.
I went out on a hike this morning with a friend in one of our metro parks.  We were thrilled to discover this castle in the middle of the park!  Built in the 20's for the wife of a wealthy businessman.  Pretty cool!
One would think that we were still in Europe...
