After a long day of travel, (22 hours) on Saturday, we made it safely to our house on Saturday evening. We were greeted with big hugs from Quincy and were thrilled to have six of us under one roof again!
It has been snowing and raining like crazy around here lately so our lake is higher than we have ever seen it and our dock is sort of just floating out there for now. Weird but our house feels like home and we happily and quickly adjusted back to being here.
The kids were all happy to be together again and the boys stuck to their big brother like glue all day yesterday. Tabitha immediately went out with friends and has either been at a friend's house or had friends here since we arrived. We don't mind a bit. I love a big noisy house full of kids having fun!
We have been busy wrapping gifts, putting up decorations, buying groceries and just getting in the holiday spirit, in between visits with our own friends. Feels good!
