After getting some much needed sleep last night, we were in a much better position to enjoy the city! We slept in a bit this morning and then enjoyed a fantastic breakfast of fruit, berries, breads, cheeses, and yogurt. Calvin then went to the closest tennis club where he tried out for a spot with a particular instructor. He was right on par with what the coach expected from him and was immediately accepted into this program. So, he will now play every Saturday morning at the club. Pretty cool! We then hit the streets walking and exploring. We showed the kids the unbelievable plethora of shopping and dining choices in the city before making yet another attempt to get cell phones. Again, we are running into the formidable hurdle of not having our Swedish personal number that is necessary for everything. We finally got it explained to us however that after we get our numbers (10-14 days), we can indeed, get phones on contract with a carrier by showing proof of Josh's employment and salary. So, we bought a couple of prepaid cheap cell phones to get us through the first couple of weeks of kids being off on their own in a foreign big city, and then set out for some more exploring. We wandered through the main city in addition to the gorgeous waterfront area and the fantastic cobble-stoned old town. Love it all! We were thrilled to eat dinner outside at a little cafe where Coco could comfortably sit under the table to join us and where they provided fleece blankets to keep us warm when the sun set. The prices of things are absolutely outrageous though with a hamburger costing almost $30 and a Kitchenaid mixer costing $750!!
