| Just ONE angry scream to get it all out of my system
We got up each morning for a long walk in the French country side before hitting the cooking for the next 4 hours.
We cooked, we learned, we laughed, we ate, we drank and then we did it all some more! So much fun!
In between eating the lunch we had prepared and preparing the evening meal, I drove us to some different parts of Brittany to show off "my France" to these well-traveled women. Everyone loved it and we only wish that our time was longer.
On Wednesday evening, we prepared and ate, yet another huge meal before celebrating our "graduation"!
Thursday morning was the time for my friends to head back to Stockholm while I took the train to Bordeaux to meet Josh. Josh had been working in Bordeaux earlier in the week but he took Friday off so that we could spend a wonderfully, lazy, long weekend in that beautiful weekend. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit rainy and my camera was long gone, so my pictures from Bordeaux are limited. But, we had a great time and because we have both been there before to see the sights, we really just walked miles and miles around the city in between meals, wine and coffee breaks!
Perfect!
Of course, when we flew back to the real world on Sunday night, it was time to hit the ground running as usual. We had work while Max had school and then the weekend was to be centered around Quincy and Calvin. Quincy performed in his first college stage production! He had the role of Lane in The Importance of Being Earnest. Calvin, Josh and Grandma drove down to watch him and apparently he did a great job. I got slammed with the stomach flu and 12 days later, am just starting to shake it. Ugh! Here is a nice review about the play however... Quincy's part starts at 16:30.
I did manage to rally long enough to meet Josh and Calvin in Indianapolis to see him receive his Indiana Academic All-star award! A very big honor!
Since that time, it has been my recuperation (and whining) period while Max has school, track practices and track meets and we all prepare for Max's Confirmation!
