A House of Boys

Another busy two weeks because Quincy and Calvin are both home from school. Calvin moved out of the dorm and graduates on Saturday but in the meantime, he has to complete a two week internship. He chose to do it with the engineers at Josh's company. He is learning a lot but has to put in the same long days as his dad so not a lot of free time. He also squeezed in two and a half day training for his summer job over the weekend.  Calvin will lifeguard at a nearby huge waterpark. He will start after graduation.
Quincy is just hanging out at home before his online summer class begins and he takes off for another summer as a camp counselor in Michigan.
Max still has another week of school and then finals next week so he is doing is normal routine.  He did have a great track meet that his brothers were around to watch. We were thrilled to see him clear 5'8" for a personal best.
Max also got two awards at the freshman academic award ceremony. He earned his first high school varsity letter for academics.

I have had some fun activities in the midst of daily chores as well. I really enjoyed a cake decorating class with a neighbor ....
Josh and I both enjoyed a historic scenic train riding and beer tasting evening with friends...
This weekend, we celebrated our 23rd anniversary with a fantastic night out for drinks at a fun "speakeasy" followed by dinner at Cleveland's most famous restaurant, The Greenhouse Tavern.  On Sunday, we celebrated some more with a 23 mile walk on the towpath in preparation for the breast cancer walk that I will soon be doing. After lots of food and a shower, we then went out for a movie. Great weekend!
Here are some pictures from our walk.
And, now, I am working hard at keeping enough food around to feed all of these big boys!
