The Amazing Falls

Once again, I have let a weekend slip by without blogging so I am a bit behind.  We have been busy and having fun, as usual!  I am now working the last week of my nursing home marketing job.  I turned in my resignation about 10 days ago and am eager to begin my new job next Monday.  I will leave behind the disorganization and lack of support at my last job and begin something very new.  I am quite excited.  I will work for Cuyahoga Community College, running their teaching clinic for their PTA/OTA/med tech/dietician tech students.  I will manage the facility as well as screening the patients and marketing the facility.  I think it will be very fun!
I have also been dabbling in patient care as I have become fearful of losing my clinical skills!  Since there is always a need for physical therapists, I have signed on with a contract therapy company to provide therapy as needed for some nursing homes in the area.  This allows me to accept the jobs that I want and turn down ones as I like.  So far, I have treated three patients and it feels good!
In between all of the working stuff, I have been doing my usual activities of lunches, excursions, hikes, bike rides and crafts.  All fun!

I even attended at Witches Tea at our yacht club one night for the women of the club.
And, as always, we continue to sail, hang out with friends and go to Max's cross country meets!

Max had a fantastic PR last week when he dropped more than a minute off his time.  He ran his 5K in 18 min, 52 sec.
Josh and I have always discovered the fun of the monthly Cleveland FLEA (market) and the fun of having season tickets to the Broadway Series in Playhouse Square.

And, Max has discovered the fun of exploring our local Metro parks with friends!
This weekend was fall break for all of the boys so I picked up Calvin from school on Thursday evening and Quincy drove home on Friday night.  After Max's last XC meet of the season, we all then took off for a little vacation at Niagara Falls, ON.

We had perfect weather and a really great time!  Hated to see Quincy head back to school today and Calvin will head back tomorrow.
Oh, Josh and I did get our formal pictures from the Commodore's Ball.  The latest "prom" pictures look almost as good as our original ones!
